ECG or Electrocardiogram

The facility that records the electrical activity of the heart is called ECG or electrocardiogram. It is a simple test, wherein 10 electrodes are used to record 12 different views of heart’s electrical activity.

ABPM

Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) is generally used to measure blood pressure at regular intervals. It is a small digital device that helps your blood pressure to keep in check.

Glucometer

Glucometer is used to keep your glucose in blood under control, a small digital device which helps patient, especially suffering from diabetes or sugar to measure the glucose count.

Peak Flow Meter

A portable device to check your respiratory functions helps to measure how well your lungs are able to expel air. It measures can measure the force of air in liters per minute.

Fundoscopy

Fundoscopy is a test generally done with a magnifying lens and a light to check the fundus of the eye. It is used to detect and evaluate symptoms of various retinal vascular or eye diseases.

Foot Care

This facility has an indirect relation with diabetes and is important to help prevent problems, such as open sores. It is generally recommended that patients with diabetic conditions or poor blood flow should do foot care each day.
